God has always asked His people to trust Him.  And often, He as asked for that trust without explaining the details of His plans to those who have committed to following Him.  That’s why Abraham’s story is so significant for us.  More than once, in so many words, God said to Abraham, “Trust Me;” and Abraham was forced to decide whether he was going to believe God or not.
