For this 2 part episode of Breakfast and Beats I invited my very first mentor in the craft of Audio Engineering, Zachary Spiezer. Zach is an accomplished artist/engineer who has released over 6 projects, and a "novelette" as well as opening his own studio space and mentoring fresh minds in the craft. I honestly wouldn't be engineering podcasts and making beats in NYC if it wasn't for this guy. He and I sat down for a lengthy 3 hr episode that I split into two parts. In part 1 we talked about the importance of rest in the creative process. Def a dope episode for any creatives who are grappling with toxic hustle culture and feel like they need a break.
