Today I got to chat with Andrea Back, the head mechanics engineer on the new grim-dark 5e setting book Nightfell! Nightfell - which you can go and back right now on Kickstarter - is a dark fantasy setting for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition that draws inspiration from Italian folklore and old school dark fantasy. With Andrea we really delved into some of the awesome mechanic differences that are offered, such as your character being directly tied to the phase of the moon which you were born under, or the concept of soul points and grim weapons.
