Closing old doors and opening new ones can be both liberating and challenging. Julie left behind a country, a long term relationship and loved ones which signified the end of one chapter and a beginning of another.
Although her story happened all the way back in 2011, she actually hasn’t had the chance to look back and reflect on how far she’s come since migrating to Australia.
In anyone's case, like Julie saying goodbye to familiar comfort and stepping into the unknown with courage and resilience was a tough decision.
However, she shares the proven theory on how closing old doors can really open up not one but many more opportunities for her.
Tough decisions were made, relationships were broken but ultimately the lesson was that everything happens for a reason.
