Last week I came in hot and this week I slow back down and arrive somewhere softer — because that’s where I’m at and that’s how this podcast works.
I imagine more activating territory is coming this season so my hope is that this episodes offers some embodied prep. I mean, if we can’t stay with ourselves when shit hits the fan, we won’t be able to stay with others. And shit just keeps hitting the fan. On every level. And I think we need to endlessly practice feeling into when to remove and/or protect ourselves, and also when to stay with discomfort or lean into the difficult— and that takes attuning to ourselves first, and then others, while also not bullshiting ourselves, or others. And knowing when and how to repair with others. This is not always easy to do, I know.
For me it’s daily, hella imperfect, and revolutionary work I do solo and with others. So yeah, this episode is not an instruction or lesson or whatever, it’s just an embodied messy demonstration of some of the ways I do this. And hopefully something inside it will feel supportive or interesting to you.
As always, take what works and leave the rest.
