This week on the podcast we extend our arms to Shari Ann Almeida, mother to a survivor. We recorded this interview in March 2023 but found it best suited to reserve it for the beginning of September, Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. Shari is also the author of "I See You". Shari describes herself as "just a mom" before her entire life changed with her daughter's, Dakota, cancer diagnosis. Follow along with us in this journey of grief and understanding in a world that no mother wants to walk and the comfort found in the grief community.
