There is a saying that we as humans are the harshest critics to ourselves when it comes to seeing and seeking self-value. Adding in external voices from others, it can get a bit much and cloud our judgement in how we see ourselves.
But we also have to remember that we are also our own biggest cheerleaders too. If we can’t stand up for ourselves when we need it the most or see our own worth. The reality is that sometimes no one will come save us but ourselves.
So today we wanted to share some moments where we’ve questioned our own worth, how we’ve worked through our struggles when external validation can be louder than self worth and how we worked through to understand our value again. We both uncover why valuing ourselves more can lead to a more fulfilling, balanced life, and how we can start shifting our mindset to do so.
We know that there are days where it can be a struggle and we all have our phases and we’re here to say that it’s okay. We’ve been through it too.
