God poured out his abundant grace on us by not destroying us. But we are only profitable when our lives reflect that mercy and grace to others. We would have been irretrievably lost had God shown prejudice against us for anything we did or said. God's grace extends far beyond our human frailties, even those sins we committed secretly. It is the unmerited favor of God. "Lord forgive me this day, my trespasses, {with the same grace} as I forgive those who trespassed against me."
