If our attitude rises to oppose the ministry, Satan instigated it. Saints who had once been saved and walked in truth found themselves foolishly beguiled by the enemy (Galatians 3:1). The Apostle Paul feared, “lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, the minds of the saints at Corinth would be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:3). Focusing on Ephesians 6, our senior elder exhorted the congregation: “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles the devious & cunning ploys employed by) the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11) His goal is to manipulate or persuade us to think, act, and rebel against God.
