Our Pastor saw a greater purpose for the suffering of those recounted in Hebrews 11. They all had a goal set before them, that is, like Moses, "choosing instead to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of the world, for they looked to the reward." (Hebrews 11:25-26). Yet beyond the reward, these saints were being CLEANSED!
"NO PERSON WILL SIT ON A THRONE TO RULE AND REIGN WITH CHRIST IF THEY HAVE NOT SUFFERED."
