As we age, we become conscious of the brevity of our remaining time. That awareness should compel us to do everything humanly possible to ensure we are prepared for death. No matter what calling a person has on their life, their primary calling is to attain the resurrection of life. A mere four years before his death, the Apostle Paul said, “If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” (Philippians 3:11) Any means meant to Paul there was no limit to what he would endure attaining his personal goal. It was not enough for the great Apostle just to be saved. His objective was to be resurrected with the Bride of Christ.
