Brother John initially heard the gospel of the Kingdom preached by Brother Goodwin in 1972, fifty-one years ago. The message is not stagnant, for the word of God progresses to address the needs of His people in each generation. He stressed that God now uses Brother Singh’s voice to speak "present truth" to the elect in our vicinity and around the world as the return of Jesus draws closer each day. We live in dangerous times, and many fall away. However, we must not be disheartened. Through the ages, "a cloud of witnesses" –– fellow elect from previous generations –– also endured extreme suffering for the gospel. “These all died, having obtained a good report through faith but received not the promise” that awaits them, that is the first resurrection.
