Have you ever wondered why God described Job as a man who was
"perfect and upright" when clearly he was not? Brother Singh explains that God exists in eternity, without distinction between past, present, or future. Hence God views His elect children as finished products, despite the flaws we struggle to overcome daily. Job lived an ideal Christian life long before the term Christian was coined. His reputation was that of a blessed man, and those who witnessed his attitude commended him because he delivered the poor that cried, the fatherless, and those with no one to help. Dying men blessed him, and he caused the widow's heart to sing with joy. (See Job 29: 11-13) Yet, God needed to perfect his faith, to make Job an overcomer.
