We’ve been talking all month about prayer on our podcast and in our devotional emails. When things are going well, finding the words to express our gratitude to God seems pretty easy. But when life gets tough and we are weary, we can sometimes find ourselves at a loss for words. It can be hard to know how and what to pray about. 

Our guest today is best-selling author Suzanne Eller, and her latest book, Prayer Starters, is designed to help you get the conversation going with God when life is especially hard. Suzie shares her heart behind Prayer Starters and the amazing things that God can do when we “just show up.”

Suzie also served as a writer and speaker for Proverbs 31 Ministries for 14 years. She’s a co-host, along with Holley Gerth and Jennifer Watson, of the More Than Small Talk podcast with the KLRC network, and also the host of Prayer Starters, a daily prayer podcast. She has been featured on Focus on the Family, Aspiring Women, Harvest Show, 100 Huntley Street, KLOVE, DayStar, and many others.

Suzie is mom to three grown children and their spouses, wife to Richard, and “Gaga” to six beautiful grandchildren. She loves kayaking, hiking, and dancing with her littles at the Farmer’s Market.
