We're so excited to welcome our friend Misty Phillip back to the podcast! We had the privilege of having Misty with us in Season 7, and we're honored to have her back for a conversation about how we can keep our faith strong in a digital age where everything can feel like shifting sand. We'll discuss the importance of discernment, the role we play as Christians in a world being shaped by artificial intelligence, and how we can approach the future with faith instead of fear. Most importantly, we'll be reminded that while technology may be changing rapidly, God is still in control, our identity in Christ is secure, and His kingdom is unshakeable.
A little about Misty:
Misty is an award-winning author of "The Struggle is Real, But So Is Our God", "Spark Your Influence: Inspiring Women to Lead with Boldness, Purpose and Passion, and co-author of Upskill or Die: Thriving in the AI Revolution. Technology has changed the way we live, work, communicate, and even connect with one another. So, what does it look like to honor God and live out our identity in Christ in this new digital era? In this episode, we talk about the ways technology can either help or hinder our faith, especially when it comes to community. Social media, texting, FaceTime, and Zoom have opened doors for connection, productivity, and opportunities we never had before. But we do need to be intentional about making sure technology is serving us, rather than the other way around. Join us as we explore what it means to live faithfully in a digital world, and continue to pursue the life of connection and community God designed us for.

Do you know your worth? It's a big question to grapple with, but how you answer it can impact more than you may realize. You may answer differently depending on how you grew up, experiences that you've had, or people you have known that have influenced how you see yourself, for better or worse. The truth is, there is only one measure by which we can know our true worth, and one voice that cuts through the noise of the world to remind us of our immeasurable worth: the voice of God. Join us as we explore the story of a woman who went from being nameless in Scripture, to being called Daughter by the Lord himself. You'll be encouraged as you are reminded of how much God loves you, and learn how knowing your worth in Christ can change everything.

In a culture that measures our "worth by our work and identity by our productivity", the idea of rest might seem counterintuitive. But constantly living that way can leave us feeling empty and exhausted, and pull us further away from God.
In this episode we'll chat with our new friend, Hester Christensen as she shares her journey of grounding her identity in Christ by resting in God. You'll be encouraged and refreshed as we dive into scripture to remember who God is and His heart for us.
If you've been feeling burned out lately, this episode is an open invitation to sit with us for a bit, experience God's love through His Word, and rest in Him as his beloved daughter.

We've all experienced moments in life when we've been hurt by something unfair or unjust. When faced with conflict and injustice in the world, or in our own lives, how are we called to respond?

At some time or another we have all fallen into the habit of doubting our worth and second-guessing who we are and who God has created us to be. We may subconsciously shrink ourselves or downplay the unique person God made us to be in order to fit in. We may question the gifts He's given us or even wonder if He truly loves us the way His Word says He does.
But Scripture reminds us of the unchanging truth of God's love and the freedom we find in Him to be who He created us to be. In today's episode, we'll dive into one of our favorite verses in the Bible, and be reminded just how much God cherish us. We hope you'll be encouraged and empowered as you discover that the person God created you to be, is exactly who He can use to bless others and grow His Kingdom.
