Welcome to Season 4, Episode 11.
We’re back in murder land.
We’re digging into one of the most heartbreaking and controversial chapters in true crime history: The Atlanta Child Murders.
We’re looking at the victims the world almost forgot and the man the system was desperate to pin it on - Wayne Williams. Was he a prolific predator, or a convenient scapegoat for a city on the brink of a race war? We’re peeling back the layers of a botched investigation, the FBI’s involvement, and why these cases are still being talked about decades later.
The poison for this episode is the Strawberry Lemon Drop.
Muddle two or three fresh strawberries in a shaker until pulverized, then add premium vodka, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and a splash of Cointreau with plenty of ice. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds to ensure it’s ice-cold, then double-strain it through a fine-mesh sieve into a sugar (salt or both)-rimmed martini glass.
Enjoy!
