Season 4 Episode 19: Baby John Doe Northfield, Vermont
On April 1, 1982, the body of a caucasian newborn baby boy was found dead around 7AM along the side of Mill Hill Road in Northfield, Vermont. He was discovered by 4 children waiting for the school bus. An autopsy determined the baby boy was born alive, full term and biologically normal. The investigation revealed that suffocation and or possibly exposure to the elements likely killed the infant. To this day, the baby's parents are unknown and the baby boy was never claimed. The case remains unsolved.
