Dead Men Talk

S4E07 - 'Standing In The Doorway of Tomorrow' with acoustic singer-songwriter duo Sound Of The Sirens

Listen Later

Chris bags another of his bucket-list guests as he welcomes Exeter-based acoustic singer-songwriting duo, Sound Of the Sirens!

Abbe Martin & Hannah Wood met at Timepiece nightclub in Exeter, where they were both working at the time, but did they ever imagine what the future would hold for them? They share their incredible story of how and when their music journey started, how a twist of fate at a cider-and-cheese festival in Somerset then led to them garnering the attention of legendary DJ and TV presenter Chris Evans, leading to TV and festival appearances and even on to supporting none other than Rick Astley!

Abbe and Hannah also discuss their new album 'Damage Control' (to be released on 8th April) and UK tour, which will also see them support Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley on a few dates of his upcoming 40th-anniversary tour.

You can pre-order your copy of 'Damage Control' now via the Sound Of The Sirens store: https://sots.tmstor.es/
