"David McCaffrey's excellent debut novel, Hellbound is one of those thrillers that keeps you glued to the page while you try to imagine what will happen next." - Steve Alten, best-selling author of THE MAYAN PROPHECY & MEG (2014)

With high praise such as this from an international best-selling author behind two box-office smash-hit movies (The Meg, The Meg 2:The Trench), it is little surprise that UK-based author David McCaffrey has served as a source of inspiration for many independent authors.

Being one of these himself, Chris is thrilled to finally get the chance to chat with David about his writing career, from the kernels of his first story to being mentored by Steve Alten who helped shape his debut novel, 'Hellbound'.

We also hear how David's own job as an Infection Control Nurse during the global pandemic impacted his own creativity, how it affected the release of his own virus-laden chiller series 'Warmest Place To Hide', as well as his role as a publisher at the helm of Britain's Next Bestseller.

Finally, we hear more about David's latest work and upcoming new release, 'One', which will be available very soon.
