This week Angie and Stevens discuss a book they both read recently that speaks to God’s grace. Dark Journey, Deep Faith”, by Roy Ratcliff is authored by the Pastor that not only performed Jefferey Dahmer’s baptism, but also discipled Jefferey until his brutal murder, a week before thanksgiving in 1994. The response to Jefferey’s open confession of Jesus as the only God, Lord and Savior over his life, generated a lot of disgraceful responses, especially from proclaiming “Christians” that said things like, “if Jefferey Dahmer is in heaven, I don’t want to be there.” It is because of this sad and repeated response and responses like it, that we decided to dedicate this first episode of season 4 to God, and the grace he offered even a wretched person like Jeffery Dahmer. The difference between Jeffery Dahmer and most of the rest of the world, isn’t necessarily his crimes alone, but his response to God’s offer of salvation. Tune in to find out more!!
