LT sits down with Dr. Tracy Juliao PhD, of Total Health and Wellness Associates, to talk about Internal Family Systems Therapy as well as her integrated health care approach to the mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Tracy is a licensed health psychologist who is passionate about destigmatizing mental health and has a wide range of offerings for clients to obtain a healthier and more balanced life to become the best version of yourself. She walks us through the teachings of Richard Schwartz’ Internal Family Systems which includes self-energy, managers, firefighters, and exiles to help us identify somatically and cultivate relationships with these parts. She collaborates and partners with psychiatrists, naturopathic doctors, veterans, bariatric center of excellence, nutritionists, yoga, and experts in their field to elevate whole person health.
