We all lose things very close to us and have to deal with the process. However, we can approach these times of grief with a mindful standpoint or from a clear, positive mindset.
It's okay to feel upset and let go of that built up tension. But it is wise to not dwell on the thought or feeling of grief for extended periods of time to where it hinders our growth and joy.
