Epictetus tells us this week that circumstances do not make us who we are, instead it reveals to us who we are. Anything that we go through is merely a growth phase that we must experience in life because it will show us who we are, it will show us our true strength. Whatever happens in life reveals to us that we have the ability to either survive or be grateful. Circumstance does not make you who you are, it only shows you who you are!
