Ever had a chat with a friend that cracks open something inside you? That's what happened recently with my soul sister. For years, we tiptoed around this yin-yang vibe between us. She's all love and light, while I'm grunge and dragonflies with a touch of fairy lights. Talking about it felt like seeing an old elephant in the room finally start dancing. 🐘
I’m working, long-term, with this identity: Midnight Empress. Initially, it was Midnight Empress of the Loamy Lands—kinda open and free. But, through our convo, it shifted to Midnight Empress of the Crystalline Cave. And holy hell, did that hit differently! It felt like something just clicked into place.
Living into this new identity is helping to free me from the exhausting mask of shiny-happy-people all the time. Now, I’m a cave dweller embracing my grunge and nineties love unapologetically. It's wild how letting myself be weird feels like lifting a weight off my chest.
