I've had a lot on my mind lately about how we connect with The Universe, Life, or whatever force you resonate with—without all the pomp and circumstance. I recently realized at 47 that this rings as true for the unseen as it does for everything else.

For years, I thought communicating with my 'Umpteen Unseen' (or Ancestors) had to involve rituals and elaborate steps. But guess what? It doesn’t. It's been super fun to discover that these connections can be as casual as peeling potatoes in a cramped kitchen.

Yep, peeling potatoes. There I was, standing at the sink when I felt my grandma's presence SO vividly. Goosebumps and tears followed, knowing she was right there with me. I had my proof.

Or when I was struggling with a stubborn microwave and called on my handy father-in-law who's passed on. The microwave clicked on—coincidence? Maybe. But for me, it was more proof. A little nudge from beyond.

And then there was the time I felt my childhood bunny, Bugs, after years of not thinking about him. Suddenly, two baby bunnies appeared in my yard. Never seen them here before. Another wave of proof.

These experiences remind me: there's more out there, more than what our eyes see and more than mundane routines. It doesn't have to be all formal and ceremonious. Just real, up-close, deeply personal moments of magic. Like little breadcrumbs leading us to the profound.
