Toleration! Toleration? That starts with T and rhymes with D... and that stands for Disaster. Disaster… right here in Thyatira!   Toleration is good when it means allowing others the freedom to hold differing views. But toleration is bad when it means accepting false teaching as true. Toleration is bad when it means accepting evil actions as good. The Church of Thyatira was tolerating Jezebel. 

Jezebel was Jezebel was teaching that sexual immorality was acceptable and idolatry was of little consequence. Some in the church were loving and trusting and serving and patient. Many in the church were attracted to Jezebel's teaching. They not only permitted her teaching, they also practiced what she taught. They were enticed to immorality and entrapped in idolatry. 

It is happening in many churches today. Teachers are embracing that which is evil. How should the church respond? What should these church members do? Jesus speaks, and He does not mince His words.
