P: sArasAkSa - O lotus-eyed one!  paripAlaya mAm ayi - Oh protect me  santatam - always

karuNayA - with mercy, jagadIsha - O lord of world,

A: nIrajAstra janaka - O father of Manmatha who has the lotus as (one of his) weapons,

ati mEcaka - O very dark-hued one, nIradAbha - O one resembling a cloud,

karinAyaka bhayahara - O remover of the fear of Gajendra!

C1: pAdapAtisama dEvanikAya- O one at whose feet the hordes of Devas fall,

harE - O Hari,

shishu sOma manOhara - O one as delightful as the crescent moon,

phAla dEsha vilasita mrgamada tilaka - O one on whose forehead shines a Kasturi Tilaka,

sUditArigaNa - O one who has killed all enemy forces,

nirupamabala - O one of incomparable strength,

bala sOdara - O brother of Balarama,

anga haricandana carcita - O one whose body is smeared with golden sandalpaste!

vibhO - O omnipresent one,

yOgijAta hrdayAmbujakElana - O one who sports in the lotus-hearts of the Yogis,

sAgarAdhika gabhIra - O one more majestic than the ocean,
