"Dear Mamas, I heard about this restaurant in New Orleans that’s charging its white customers $30 for lunch, but charging black customers $12! How is this legal, and why in the world would anyone in this day and age think that discrimination based on race is okay?"
The pop-up restaurant, Saartj, is making a big splash in the news media. We took this question to the Mamas, Teri and Denise, on Monday's "What Would Mama Do?" and got their thoughts on the restaurant and whether the message it's sending to its customers is the one it intends.
"What Would Mama Do?" is sponsored by Moor Coffee Company, and airs every weeknight on American Ground Radio.
