I wanted to chat with Alex about his learning journey in investing - the lessons he’s learned along the way, what a degree in mechanical engineering has to do with investing and what his thoughts are in general about learning experiences - what matters and what doesn’t. Alex has spent a good chunk of time in completely different learning environments - whether internships, summer jobs, college or Yeshiva - which I’ll call a form of higher education for Jewish religious studies - and in retrospect that has formed his opinion on his previous experiences.
