Genesis 2:1-3

Most people desire the new year to be productive and full of great moments. Few probably carve out intentional regular time to practice rhythms of rest. But this is part of what it means to follow the way of Jesus. He calls us to a life of rest, letting Him do all the hard work that we could never do. The work we do is within the work that He is doing. And part of His work for us is a call to rest and reflect upon who He is and a time to enjoy what He has given to us.
