November 06, 2019Springboks arrive home to a heroes welcome - SteynThe Springboks arrived home in different groups to a hero’s welcome at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Tuesday. Thousands of people from all walks of life including Football and Rugby fans wearing their regalia graced the occasion from as early as 1pm until 9pm when the final group arrived. The Springboks were crowned the World Champions when they defeated England 32-12 in Yokohama, Japan on Saturday. Francois Steyn became one of the very few players to have won the World Cup twice. He was also part of the team that won it in 2007 in France, when they also beat the same England in the final. He says both victories are special....more2minPlay
