Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus believes that they were lucky to escape with two points in their 16-all draw with New Zealand in the Rugby Championships in Wellington on Saturday. Lamontville Golden Arrows warmed up for the start of the new Absa Premiership season when they won the 2019 KwaZulu-Natal Premier’s Cup held in Durban over the weekend. Abafana Bes’thende beat National First Division club Real Kings thanks to second-half goals from Romario Dlamini and Michael Gumede. Steve Komphela’s side, who enjoyed a bye on Saturday, thumped Uthongathi FC in their earlier semi-final on Sunday, before their win over Kings in the decider. The Arrows boss said he was pleased with their performance in Umlazi.
