As President Jacob Zuma prepares to announce a new cabinet some analyst say he is likely to retain most of his ministers in order to ensure continuity

Members of the public who wanted to attend President Jacob Zuma’s inauguration on Saturday started getting ready as early as 3am to make it to the big event at the Union buildings. SABC Digital News production editor Christelle du Toit traveled with them on the public transport availed by government to get a sense of the significance of the occasion for them.

The South African Council of Churches held an interfaith prayer session in Newtown Johannesburg in support of the school girls who were kidnapped by militant group, Boko Haram.
