Phoenix Rising clawed their way back to equalize in the second half against a game Sacramento Republic squad.

Rising had their chance in the first half when Panos Armenakas stepped up to the penalty spot. While the ball did hit the back of the net, the kick had to be retake with the attacker putting in wide on the second attempt.

In the second half, Rising continued to search for options. Luck would swing their way as Remi Cabral avoided offsides for a clutch equalizer.
