The Life Activation is the Primary Healing Session that Zuyapa Jackson and Ruthie Odom offer in their respective communities, New Orleans, LA and Long Beach, CA. In this episode, we share our stories of receiving the life activation and how it assisted us in similar yet various ways. Zuyapa was seeking to bring real change to her clients, and Ruthie was seeking a way out of suffering. Both of them found the Life Activation to be key. In this episode, we discuss what the life activation is, why spiritual training is important, and our experience facilitating this modality for so many years. We have seen people heal from depression, heal from anxiety, find purpose and meaning, and anchor the light in their life in ways they never thought possible. The path of healing is not easy, as Zuyapa and Ruthie know through their years of trial and error on the path to know thyself, but it is worth it. And Life Activation is only the beginning. Welcome to the first episode of the Sacred Cool Podcast with Zuyapa Jackson and Ruthie Odom. Our first topic is on pain and suffering, where we dive deep into why people are hurting. We cover how masking your pain leads to suffering and wastes energy, defining suffering as the avoidance of pain. We further go into the spiritual significance of pain, quoting Alice bailey that “Pain is the God of humans.” Picking apart what this means, we link how suffering is correlated to an avoidance of God. We go on to define God as a motivating force for good, separating God from the religious indoctrination and taking a more personal approach.  We ask, “Does God exist?” And explore the quest for God. Ruthie remarks on the failings of the new age spiritual movement and how it avoids bridging God into practical reality. Zuyapa goes on to define healing as a shifting of perspective, looping back that the cause of suffering is attachment to perspective. All in all we find that pain is not a scary thing at all, but just something telling us that its time to move, progress, and heal.

“If you can help people shift perspective, when you can change the way you see and relate to something, suffering will be alleviated.”
