  • I Picked You As My Parents with Jaime Lundquist Munoz

What if the family you dream of could come into your life in a way you never expected?

In this episode of Sacred Fertility Flow, I’m joined by Jaime Lundquist-Muñoz, an international bestselling author, educator, researcher, and Reiki Master, for a heartfelt conversation about manifestation, dreams, and his journey to fatherhood.

Jaime always dreamed of becoming a dad. After a vivid dream in which he saw himself as a father, he shared his vision with his husband, Bill, trusting that somehow it would happen. Soon after, a woman he worked with unexpectedly offered to become their surrogate.

The moment that stayed with me most was hearing what their daughter, Margaret, shared at just two and a half years old: that she had travelled past the moon, sun, stars, and planets and chosen Jaime and Bill as her parents.

Her words brought both dads to tears, and years later, Margaret shared her story in Divine Dreamers, an international bestselling book exploring spiritual awakening.

Jaime and I connected as co-authors of Sacred Surrender: Courageous Visionaries Embracing & Leading in Their Divinity. I felt called to invite him onto the podcast because his story beautifully opens up a conversation about trusting our dreams, remaining open to possibility, and the many ways a family can come together.

    In this conversation, we explore:

    • Jaime’s dream of becoming a father and how his journey unfolded
    • The unexpected offer that made their family possible
    • Margaret’s beautiful words about choosing her parents
    • Manifestation, quantum jumping, and being open to possibilities beyond what we can currently see
    • Lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, and helping children navigate their dreams
    • Conscious parenting and creating space for children’s intuition and inner experiences
    • This conversation is a reminder that the path to parenthood may look different than we first imagined. Jaime’s story invites us to consider what can happen when we hold a vision close while remaining open to how life may unfold.

    • Ayurveda, Nourishment & Living in Flow with Hannah Levin

What happens when we stop trying to follow someone else’s blueprint and begin listening to the wisdom within ourselves?

In this heartfelt episode of Sacred Fertility Flow, Ashley Holmes sits down with longtime friend, fellow co author of Nourished Wisdom: From Leaders Living in Flow & Fulfillment, and Ayurveda educator and practitioner Hannah Levin for a conversation about nourishment, healing, self trust, family, and the many possibilities life can hold.

Hannah begins by making Ayurveda accessible for those who are new to this ancient wisdom. She explains the five elements and the three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and why Ayurveda is not a one size fits all diet. Instead, it invites us to understand our unique constitution, listen to our bodies, live more consciously with the seasons and make small, sustainable changes that support greater balance.

Hannah also shares the personal health experience that changed the direction of her life. After being diagnosed with high grade cervical dysplasia and being told she needed surgery, she chose to advocate for herself, seek another medical opinion and explore other options. Her experience ultimately became a catalyst for learning Ayurveda and discovering the work she was meant to share with other women.

Ashley and Hannah then travel to India through conversation, exploring what it was like for Hannah to experience the culture where Ayurveda originated, her time at an Ayurvedic healing centre and the profound sense of connection she experienced there.

The conversation also returns to Nourished, where Hannah wrote about her evolution from depletion, lack and self doubt toward a life of joy, beauty, nourishment and meaning.

And then comes one of the most personal parts of the conversation: Hannah’s experience as a bonus mom.

Hannah shares honestly about joining a family with two children, the fulfillment and joy she has found in helping raise them, the challenges and moments of isolation, and the tremendous lessons she has learned along the way. Her story opens a much needed conversation about the many ways family, motherhood, love and belonging can look.

At its heart, this episode is about possibility.

Hannah leaves listeners with a powerful reminder: we are never stuck. There are always options, perspective shifts and different ways of moving through life.

What if we allowed ourselves to become seeds of potentiality and asked not only, “What is happening?” but “What is possible?”

This is a conversation about Ayurveda, healing, nourishment, self knowledge, motherhood, family, dharma and trusting that life may have a different path waiting for us than the one we originally imagined.

    • Energy Medicine, Body Wisdom, Emotional Healing & the Mind-Body Connection in Fertility with Sarah Lascano

What if your body isn't failing you? What if it's communicating with you?

This conversation with Sarah Lascano is about so much more than energy medicine.

Sarah is a best-selling author, doctor-trusted energy medicine expert, and creator of The Lascano Method™. After experiencing a major health crisis during her first pregnancy and being told by doctors that there was nothing more they could do, Sarah began exploring a much bigger picture of health- one that included the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic body.

In this episode, we bring that perspective into the fertility journey.

What happens when you've spent months or years tracking, testing, researching and trying to find the answer and your relationship with your body has become one of frustration, fear or disappointment?

Sarah and Ashley explore the difference between striving and flow, and why constantly trying to control an outcome can make it harder to hear the quieter information available within us.

We talk about “static” in the body, unresolved emotions, nervous system regulation, subconscious patterns, intuition and what it means to actually listen when your body is trying to get your attention.

Sarah shares a simple practice you can use before bed to create 30–60 seconds of space to ask:

What do I need to know?

What do I need to connect with?
What do I need to process?

The conversation also explores what happens when we've been given a diagnosis, prognosis or statistic and begin to mistake that information for the boundaries of what is possible.

And perhaps most importantly, we talk about agency.

Not blaming yourself for your fertility journey.

      Not ignoring medical care.

Not pretending difficult experiences don't exist.

But recognizing that there may be more available to you when you begin looking within, processing what you've been carrying, calming the noise and allowing yourself to receive guidance.

For me, this was one of those conversations where the questions seemed to arrive exactly when they needed to. Sarah and I repeatedly found ourselves saying, “Yes. Exactly.”

There were more than a few goosebumps moments.

If you've ever wondered whether your body is working against you, this conversation invites you to consider a different possibility:

What if your body is communicating with you and learning to listen could change the way you experience your fertility journey?

    • Infertility, a multiple piece puzzle with Dr Kela Smith

What if infertility isn't one problem to solve, but a puzzle with multiple pieces?

In this episode of Sacred Fertility Flow, Ashley Holmes welcomes Dr. Kela Smith, PhD, a women's health and fertility expert who specializes in fertility, hormone health and root-cause healing.

This conversation is also a beautiful full-circle moment. Ashley and Dr. Kela have connected through the years, with Ashley previously appearing on Dr. Kela's Hormone Puzzle Podcast and speaking at her Solving Infertility Summit. Now, they come together on Sacred Fertility Flow to explore what may be missing when women are searching for answers about their fertility.

Dr. Kela shares the personal fertility journey that led her to develop the Hormone Puzzle Method and explains why she believes fertility challenges often require us to look beyond reproductive hormones alone.

Ashley and Dr. Kela explore what can be missed when a woman is told her tests are "normal," including nutrition, gut health, nutrient absorption, stress, nervous system regulation, sleep, exercise, environmental factors and the internal cellular environment.

They also dive into Dr. Kela's six fertility non-negotiables, why fertility optimization isn't about doing everything perfectly, the importance of considering male fertility, and how small, consistent changes can help women feel more empowered in their health journey.

And in a particularly meaningful part of the conversation, Ashley asks Dr. Kela what Sacred Fertility Flow means to her after years of personal and professional experience in the fertility space.

Dr. Kela also shares about her new book, Solving Your Infertility Puzzle, and her free Fertility Puzzle Assessment designed to help women identify where they may want to focus next.

If you've been told "everything looks normal" but you're still searching for answers, this conversation offers another way to look at your fertility journey, not as something that is wrong with you, but as an opportunity to understand your body more deeply.

    • Homeopathy, Fertility & Root Causes with Vanessa Noemi

What if “unexplained infertility” isn't the end of the conversation?

In this episode of Sacred Fertility Flow, Ashley Holmes reconnects with Vanessa Noemi Parrado: Homeopath, Reiki Master, Intuitive and NLP Coach with 25 years of experience in natural healing.

Together, they explore what it can mean to look at fertility through a wider lens: the whole person rather than simply the reproductive system.

Vanessa shares her journey into homeopathy and her perspective on symptoms, root causes and individualized care. They discuss unexplained infertility, past health experiences, birth control and medication history, gut and liver health, hormones, nervous system depletion, stress, nourishment and the ways modern women are often expected to live in a constant state of doing.

They also have an honest conversation about IVF, the emotional toll of infertility treatment and the belief that IVF is the only, or inevitable path to becoming a parent.

One of the most powerful messages Vanessa leaves listeners with is simple:

“Don’t take a medical sentence as the last word ever.”

This isn't a conversation about a magic pill or a one-size-fits-all solution. It's an invitation to become curious, explore further, advocate for yourself and consider what your body and health history may be telling you.

If you've ever been told your infertility is “unexplained,” this conversation may give you a new perspective to consider.

Yvette shares her powerful concept of "The Great Forgetting and The Great Remembering"—the idea that many of us lose touch with our true nature through conditioning, expectations, and life experiences, and that practices like yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, and creative expression can help us find our way back.

              Quick recap

This conversation was a podcast interview between Ashley and Alicia Hurt, a certified doula and holistic wellness coach who founded the nonprofit I See My Baby Incorporated. Alicia shared her personal journey through infertility, trauma, and healing, discussing how she lost her sense of self while working as a minister and later as a corporate manager before finding her calling in supporting other women through fertility struggles and major life transitions. She described how internal pain manifesting physically, including developing rheumatoid arthritis and experiencing a car accident, ultimately led her to quit her job and pursue her true purpose of helping women heal and rediscover their voice. The conversation covered the importance of writing and journaling as therapeutic tools, the need for community support during difficult times, and the concept of examining one's intentions to ensure they align with spiritual fulfillment rather than just external achievements. Alicia also shared a breathing exercise for stress relief and emphasized the critical importance of developing a strong relationship with God as the foundation for healing and finding purpose.

              Fertility Podcast Guest Discussion

Alicia and Ashley discussed their plans for a recording session, with Ashley offering to send a recap and notes to Alicia afterward. The conversation then shifted to introducing Alicia as a guest for an upcoming discussion about fertility, healing, and transformation. The meeting appeared to be setting up for an interview or podcast where Alicia would share her journey as a certified doula, holistic wellness coach, and founder of a nonprofit organization supporting women and families.

              Journey Through Infertility and Identity

Alicia shared her personal journey of struggling with authenticity and self-identity while dealing with infertility, describing how internal pain affected her relationships with her husband, employer, and faith. She explained how she realized she had lost herself through feedback from her husband, mother's subtle observations, and a supervisor's direct comment about her unhappiness despite her successful career. Alicia's story highlighted how fertility struggles can deeply fracture a woman's self-identity, a point Ashley acknowledged as resonating with many people's experiences.

              Therapeutic Benefits of Writing

Alicia and Ashley discussed the therapeutic benefits of writing to process difficult experiences and emotions. Alicia shared her personal journey of writing a book to document and heal from her experiences, emphasizing how writing helps people feel understood and less alone. They both agreed that writing or recording thoughts can help uncover subconscious feelings and provide therapeutic relief, with Alicia recommending clients record themselves when they don't have time to write.

              Rheumatoid Arthritis Journey Sharing

Alicia shared her experience of developing rheumatoid arthritis while dealing with multiple stressors, including caring for her father, having a son, and facing relationship and career concerns. She described how moving away, quitting her job, and opening a nonprofit significantly improved her physical condition over the past three years. Alicia credited a conversation with her beautician and a compassionate doctor who told her "there's hope" as pivotal moments in her healing journey.

              Overcoming Trauma and Healing Journey

Alicia shared her experience of a traumatic car accident and how she overcame it through faith and support from others, which helped redirect her toward her calling. She discussed how many people carry hidden trauma, insecurities, and unhealed emotional wounds from past experiences, including negative comments and lack of parental acceptance. Alicia emphasized the importance of both spiritual support and therapy in healing, advocating for moving forward rather than staying stuck in past pain.

              Overcoming Spiritual and Emotional Barriers

Alicia shared her personal experience of overcoming spiritual and emotional barriers by removing two gold chains that were symbolically holding her back from fully embracing her calling as a minister. She emphasized the importance of taking "baby steps" toward healing and self-discovery. Ashley discussed how healing is not linear and that people must find completeness within themselves rather than relying on others to fill voids, noting that modern culture often avoids healing due to fears of re-traumatization.

              Supportive Community and Mindfulness Discussion

Alicia and Ashley discussed the importance of having a supportive community and village, particularly for women navigating challenges like infertility and motherhood. Alicia shared a breathing exercise to help center oneself and manage stress, emphasizing the value of mindfulness and self-reflection. They also talked about the significance of understanding one's intentions and purpose, with Alicia highlighting the role of a strong relationship with God in providing clarity and focus. Alicia mentioned her personal healing journey, including her goal to come off medications by the end of 2026, and encouraged listeners to prioritize their relationship with God amid overwhelming information.
