Welcome to this week's Sacred Pathway Sermon! In this sermon, since it's the week of Valentine's day, I decided to do a reading asking what do we need to do so that we can welcome more love in our lives. Not just romantic love but love in all ways.

Neith Sankofa (she/her/they) is the Founder, CEO, and principle facilitator of “The Healing Theater”, a healing centered dance company committed to providing space and tools for Black Women to heal and reconnect to their mystical potential.

Neith is an author, sacred healing artist, consultant and coach in the areas of self-healing, business-based energy alignment, and embodiment for liberation. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Religious Studies (minor in Sociology and concentrations in ethics and embodiment) both from Georgia State University. Neith also holds a B.A and ordination from the University of Metaphysics, and has studied several forms of African, ancient and indigenous wisdom through over 10 years of dance apprenticeships and holistic mentorships.

She has been a presenter at national and international conferences and is the author of several publications on the use of dance/movement and embodiment practices for liberation.

Neith’s dance credits include performing in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games, being a featured dancer at the International Day of Peace, and ceremonial performances throughout the U.S. Neith’s soul path commitments include assisting in the liberation of Black bodies (specifically Black women) into the BLISS that is their birthright.

Here we are the week of Christmas. What an exciting time this is. Our reading for this week tells us yet again, to slow things down a bit. Take the time to stay in the moment. Don't try to jump ahead. And know that Spirit/God has your back!! Ase'
