Machu Picchu is a sacred religious site. The sacred city of the Incas is build in the Andes mountains of Perú at  at 1 ½ miles above sea level. The entire stone city is built with astronomical alignments.

For those of the higher consciousness movement, visiting Machu Picchu can only be compared to a faithful Jew visiting the Wailing Wall or a devout Catholic’s pilgrimage to the Vatican.
