This week starts with Mercury, ruler of the mental body, shifting into imaginative Pisces. Mercury is a logical planet and Pisces is an intuitive sign so he is not always comfortable here. However. while he is here until April 4th, our creative mind will flow with intuitions and dreamy new ideas. This supports creative writing and communication, as well as meditation and increased psychic abilities.   

On Saturday, March 20th, we are entering the Spring Equinox and the Sun moving into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. This is a time of planting new seeds and initiating new beginnings in our lives. We are coming out of the healing and completion phase of Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, and now we can feel more confident and courageous about moving forward! On Sunday Venus, ruler of relationships and personal resources, also shifts into Aries. Now the Divine Feminine can take charge and be more leadership oriented! On this same day we also have Mars, ruler of energy and action, in communicative Gemini connecting with Saturn, planet of manifestation, in humanitarian Aquarius. It is a good time now to share ideas, network and take action on bringing tangible results to your ideas!

This week both the Sun, ruler of our identity, and Venus, ruler of relationships and finances, is connecting with Neptune, ruler of the spiritual realm, This brings in the energies of unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness, increased intuitive and healing abilities, but also may manifest confusion, scattered energies,  lack of focus, and not seeing situations or people clearly. These energies are also creative, artistic, and psychic, as well as addictive, ungrounded, and deceptive.   

We have a New Moon at 23 degrees Pisces on Saturday. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and so this tells us that we are nearing the end of a energetic cycle. We are getting ready for a new beginning cycle and the planting of new seeds as the Sun approaches the first sign of the zodiac, Aries. So, for now, this time is about wrapping up loose ends, completions, healing, and letting go of what we do not want to carry with us into the new beginning cycle.

The Month of March vibrates to an 8 in numerology. This tells us that there is a focus on self-empowerment during the month of March. We must stand in our power and be our own authority. There may also be a focus on career, business, life path, money and finances.   

The 8th Major Arcana in the Tarot is the Strength card. This tells us that in this month of March we must have confidence and courage. Speak your truth and if need be, roar like the lion (or tiger).  

Some of the major astrological energies are:  

Mars, planet of energy and action, moves into mutable Gemini until April 23rd. Energy is given to our ideas now and we can initiate new perceptions and gather information that will aid us in moving forward. This can also cause lack of focus and direction.  

The New Moon at 23 degrees Pisces is on March 13th. There are new beginnings on a spiritual level filled with love, compassion and forgiveness.   Mercury, ruler of the mental realm, shifts into ethereal Pisces and we must merge logic with intuition while he is in this sign of the Fish until April 4th. This is a great place for meditation and creative projects, but challenging for staying focused on what needs to get done.  

March 20th is the Spring Equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere) with the Sun shifting into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. This is about planting new seeds and initiating new action. It is a time of new beginnings.

Venus follows the Sun by shifting into Aries on March 21st. The Divine Feminine is confident and independent now. She will be in this sign of the Ram until April 14th with her strength and leadership.  

The last astrological event of significance is the Full Moon at 8 degrees Libra, sign of the Scales. This will highlight all forms of partnerships in our lives with a need for equality and balance.

This week we have Mars, the Warrior, trine Pluto, the Transformer, on Wednesday. Transformation is in the air! This may occur in the area of money and finances, but is just as likely in other areas of our lives. This week, on Wednesday, we have Saturn, ruler of the past, challenging Uranus, ruler of the future. We have been feeling this energy building over the past couple of weeks as we shift from an old paradigm into a new paradigm. This means that karmic situations of the past may be intensifying in our lives as we are getting ready to transition into a higher vibrational energy dynamic. The old must fall away before the new can root in and take hold. These energies may feel as though they are in a tug of war with one another now.

On Thursday the Sun leaves the sign of Aquarius, to move into the etheric water energies of Pisces. Although we still have four other planets in Air sign Aquarius, the Sun will shine its light now through the lens of spiritual, creative and mystical Pisces for the next month.

On Friday the Lovers, Venus, ruler of the Divine Feminine, and Mars, ruler of the Divine Masculine, are at odds with each other I a challenging square aspect. There may be difficulties in the area of relationships and finances for a short time.

Saturday we have Mercury, ruler of the mental realm, turning back to direct motion, at 11 degrees Aquarius. It may be a few days yet, but situations having to do with communication and information can start to smooth out, become more clear, and make sense again.

The message from our angels and guides shows that we need inner strength to push through the energies that we are experiencing now. Go within to become centered and find your trust and faith in the Divine regarding the unfolding of events. This week Mercury Retrograde is highlighted! We start out the week on Monday with the Sun, ruler of how we shine our Light, connecting with mercury Retrograde in Aquarius. Old ideas and communications may resurface now. Early on Wednesday Mercury challenges Mars, the warrior, in Taurus. We may feel mentally frustrated or experience difficult interactions with others. On Thursday we have a beautiful connection between Venus, planet of relationships, and Jupiter, planet of expansion. This week begins on Monday with the Sun in a challenging connection to Mars. The Sun rules our identity and Mars is the warrior so we may start out the week with some feelings of frustration. Also on this day, Venus, planet that rules our relationships and our resources, is shifting into humanitarian Aquarius. We now have five planets in this sign of the Water Bearer....Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and the Sun! On Friday Venus connects with Saturn, planet of responsibility, restrictions and lessons. This connection could bring a feeling of limitation to our freedom and the Divine Feminine Energies, or it could actually bring something positive into the beginning stages of manifestation. On Saturday, lovely Venus will connect with Chiron, the wounded healer and shaman, and then with Uranus, the Great Awakener. There is an opportunity for healing, but we may need to break free of a situation, circumstance, perception or belief system in order to do so.

 February 2021 has a 7 Universal Month Vibration. This tells us that this will be a month of self-reflection and internal processing on some level. There will be a combination of emotional, mental, and spiritual energies and a need for trust and faith in what will come next. 

The 7th Major Arcana in the Tarot is the Chariot. This is about bringing opposing forces within ourselves into alignment so we can stay focused on what is ahead of us. We have to balance the shadow of the ego with our Higher Selves in order to successfully move forward.  

The astrological highlights are:  

Venus moves into intellectual Aquarius on February 1st. Now we have 5 planets in Aquarius, the sign of freedom and humanitarian endeavors. She connects with Saturn, planet of responsibility, on the 5th, Uranus, the Great Awakener, on the 6th, Jupiter, Bringer of Blessings, on the 11th, and Mars, the Warrior, on the 19th before moving into compassionate Pisces on the 25th.  

Mercury, ruler of the mental realm, turned to retrograde motion on January 30th and does not turn back to direct motion until February 20th. While retrograde he connects with the Sun, ruler of our personality, on the 8th, Mars, planet of energy and action, on the 10th, Venus, ruler of relationships, on the 12th, and Jupiter, planet of expansion, on the 14th.  

We have a New Moon at 23 degrees Aquarius on February 11th activating new beginnings, and a Full Moon at 8 degrees Virgo on the 27th, bringing closure and completion to a cycle.  

The message from our angels and guides shows the potential of moving forward with our ideas and plans with determination and patience. Combining leadership, confidence, passion and creative expression is what is needed. With quiet contemplation on our intentions and visions for the future, along with practical steps and action, we can magically create our new reality.
