Your host, author Janis Harper, reads from Chapters 10 and 11 in her visionary novel, Jonas and the Mountain: A Metaphysical Love Story. After her talk, she takes you through a short but powerful expressive arts activity that will help you to explore your life in this way. If you choose to participate, all you need is pen and paper for writing and drawing.
Press pause in your day, in your life, and listen in to yourself. There are worlds waiting to be discovered.

Jonas is trying to meditate in the meditation hall on retreat at Mt. Arunachala, in South India, but finds it difficult: thoughts about how poorly he has been treated in his past occupy his mind, and these thoughts mutate into questions about victimization, betrayal, and why bad things happen. • I to We to One with Nina Meyerhof
Dr. Glen Martin, author of The Earth Constitution Solution discusses with Nina Meyerhof the principle that we must move from “I to we to one.” This is the course of conscious evolution in which each person is first and foremost responsible for his or her own growth from I to we to one. Secondly, we are all the same, deeply the same in spite of individual uniqueness, and we must actualize and live according to that sameness.

The crisis of our age they state is that we resist this movement from I to we to one. The change will come from the ground up—people are rapidly changing—and yet changing the institutions will itself help in the process of moving to planetary oneness. Top down and bottom up must have this kind of reciprocity. That is why we need the Earth Constitution which is the planetary “gold standard” for what we are trying to achieve.

Nina Meyerhof has made a life of advocating for children and youth. As her vocation, she served as the Special Education Coordinator for a ten–school district in southern Vermont. Dr. Meyerhof has extensive background in the needs of all children, with Master of Arts degrees in both Special Education and in Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Psychology. She also holds a doctorate in Educational Policy, Research, and Administration from the University of Massachusetts, where she developed a self-esteem model to be used in schools. A co-author of Conscious Education: The Bridge to Freedom, she is recognized as an innovative educator committed to global responsibility through authentic learning. Having received many awards for her work from The Mother Theresa Award to the Citizen’s Department of Peace Award to the International Educators Award for Peace, Nina continues daily to focus on altering world views for creating a better future.
Dr. Glen T. Martin is professor of philosophy Emeritus at Radford University in Virginia. He is President of the World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA) and Executive Director of the Earth Constitution Institute (EC). His newest book called The Earth Constitution Solution: Design for a Living Planet examines the global environmental crisis in depth along with the world system causing this crisis. • Spiral Dynamics with Rev. Laura George
Dr. Glen Martin, author of The Earth Constitution Solution discusses with Rev. Laura M. George, J.D. our planetary crisis through the lens of Spiral Dynamics. They state that people around the world are operating at different levels of consciousness from very primitive power and authority based consciousness to “pluralistic” consciousness in which they are advanced beyond ethnocentric narrowness but still not advanced to a “second tier” consciousness capable of seeing the dynamics of the whole and advancing its own evolution consciously.

It may be that an advanced consciousness of only 10% of the world’s population will be sufficient to make the great transition—a transition that must and should include ratification of the Earth Constitution.

Rev. Laura M. George, J.D. is a retired attorney and Executive Director of The Oracle Institute, a 501(c)(3) educational charity. She received her undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, her law degree from Boston University, and her ministerial training through the interfaith Order of Melchizedek.
The Oracle Institute serves as an “Advocate for Peace and a Vanguard for Conscious Evolution,” and its formal mission statement is Thomas Jefferson’s Act for Religious Freedom. Oracle operates as a spiritual think-tank and studies the nexus between religion, politics, human rights, and conscious evolution. Rev. George often writes about the “Trickle-Down Deity Theory,” which posits that humanity’s view of the Godhead necessarily defines all cultural experience. She is the author of the award-winning Oracle Trilogy: The Truth, The Love, and The Light. www.TheOracleInstitute.org.
At the Peace Pentagon in Independence, Virginia, Rev. George oversees Oracle’s award-winning publishing house, multi-faith spirituality school, and international peacebuilding practice. www.PeacePentagon.net. The Peace Pentagon is a training and retreat center for progressive and pluralistic programs, such as the Building the New World Conferences. www.BTNW.world. The Peace Pentagon also serves as the U.S. headquarters for the Earth Constitution Institute, the heart of the Valley of Light community, and the soul of Oracle Temple, an esoteric church founded by Rev. George.
