Sacrificial Succession provides for Orderly Chaos.

Scientific research has found that there is an underlying order in event complex, apparently chaotic situations, provided there is a strong relationship called a "strange attraction" between the elements.

This strange attraction is primary achieved through acts of service and self-sacrifice for each other, because these human elements have the strongest attraction to each other.

Sacrificial Succession may seem chaotic, however its system of mediatory sacrifice by predecessor for successor is its underlying strength.

John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus and was willing to decrease his leadership so Jesus could increase his. This humble attitude in action make us "great" too! John said about Jesus, "I must decrease; he must increase."

The key to greatness in God's kingdom is willing to be last and least. Do this by preparing the way for others to know Him (evangelism), help them grow to maturity in Him (discipleship) and sacrificially hand over leadership to successors who can multiply the movement (succession).
