This week we’re sitting down with Julie Fathy— an incredible woman who I have had the privilege of meeting this year. Julie is one of the founders of On The Menu— which is a nutrition analysis company that works with labeling and food manufacturers nationwide. Their clients include Justin’s (like the peanut butter),, Jimmy Johns, Ted’s Montana Grill and more. 

More importantly, Julie is a mama of three including the mom to our BMD team member, Jordan. Not only had Jordan told me about Julie’s incredible and successful entrepreneurship journey, but what really caught my attention was Julie’s passion for minimalism and living a simple life— particularly, how she has accomplished to run a zero waste household. And we dive into why Julie has chosen to refrain from using social media. 

This week I sit down with one of BMD’s lead designers, Presley. She has lived in multiple cities and studied engineering at UT Austin, where she also worked heavily in social media and the influencing world for multiple brands.

Being a generational Montanan, I have been incredibly intentional about how I have built my business, Bozeman Media Design. Relationships are at the heart of everything I do, and I really lead BMD with this idea of “community.” I thought it would be interesting to sit with someone who is new to the Bozeman area and see her perspective. 

We discuss the opportunity of jobs BMD brings to the area, outsourcing locally, and  how authentic relationships lead to building a strong brand.

This week we’re taking a bit of a different approach in terms of guests and topics— we are interviewing some of my team members for my business Bozeman Media Design, which is a social media management and content creation startup based out of Bozeman, Montana.

This week I’m sitting down with someone who I would say is a fellow entrepreneur sister— Heather Cade founder and owner of District Loom, which is a rug company driven by sustainability by offering a highly curated selection of vintage and antique rugs. In this episode we talk about making the occupational switch from being a nurse to business owner, how she partnered with her distributors Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, etc., and what it looks like to embrace a healthy work life balance post-burnout. 

This week, we sit down with Annie Jagger to talk about how she got her foot in the door at Nylon Magazine, what it took to become a celebrity stylist, and why you have to love what you’re doing enough to work for free.

In this episode, we sit down with Liv Longin, the host of Saddling Social to discuss her journey from acting to becoming an entrepreneur in her home state of Montana. Liv shares her insights on the challenges she faced during her transition and how she overcame them. She also talks about how her intentional morning routine impacts her day, her passion for providing jobs in Montana, and the inspiration behind her business.
