SAE's in the FFA

Katelyn Wattenbarger is from Crossville Tennessee, and she harvests' stones for her SAE. She served as a state officer in 2020-2021 as the Tennessee FFA State Secretary and is a sophomore at Tennessee Tech. This interview highlights her family's stone harvesting business and how she became involved in FFA. 

Austin Funk is from Broadway, Virginia and he has a show goat company for his SAE. He served as a state officer for the 2020-2021 year and is currently a freshman at Virginia Tech. This interview highlights the details of a production show goat SAE, and why Austin is passionate about it! 

Hannah Saum is a junior at Amanda Clearcreek High School in Ohio and she was a state proficiency winner in the Forestry Management division. She was able to give us an insight into her Christmas tree operation, and what it takes to start a supervised agriculture experience.
