I see a lot of my friends in their 20s secretly complaining about their parents for because they believe they're not giving them enough.
My friends, if you complain about that, then you really need to put things in perspective.
Nobody owes you anything.
The fact that you're parents are giving you a free bed, free food, and free education means that they love you. It doesn't mean that they have too.
You seem to forget that your parents are humans too. You don't have to give anyone anything if you don't want to, and so do your parents.
I'm not razzing you or saying that you suck. I'm no better.
But, I am saying this because I want you to be happy.
And that's the punchline, if you learn that nobody owes you anything, you will be grateful.
Gratitude will make you happy.
It will change your life and how you see everything.
Not only that, but you will start to look for your own path.
You'll start to think of how you can make your own life happen.
