One of my favorite poems. This was written on a hike I was on in the mountains on Oahu, Hawaii and I came across this tree growing at the very peak overlooking the valley below. It surely looked like it survived some rough seasons from the elements and then I wondered how old this tree was and what kind of history it's been through during it's lifetime. Enjoy!
