In reflecting on the recent events of Asian discrimination, violence of mass shootings, it made me realize a few things. So I wrote down my thoughts to share with you. A reminder that we are all in this together, so we need to change our perception and way of thinking in order to bring solutions to our problems.

Piggybacking on the previous episode on Boxes & Labels, this is all about our personal comfort zones and why it is harmful to not allow ourselves to step out of these- in order to heal, grow and experience. Trauma, depression, career social and political views, perceptions, exposure to new things, and self-development are discussed, including my personal background of experiences and transformations due to stepping out of my box and a revelation in regard to Depression. These labels and boxes we give each other and ourselves....and why we are seeing a high increase in division in our country. It's time we step back, dig deeper, self reflect and swallow some hard realities. Because we do share many desires including connection and belonging, and that we don't like the divisiveness. We all have work to do to bridge the gaps- to be decent human beings. From religion, job/career, social & political view to ethnicity, disability and other unchosen differences. We have seen an uprise of social, political, health/mental health and environmental issues and many of us are scrambling to find solutions. We all take part in education reform for the incoming generation and generations to come- from the education system to teachers to parents to every adult that children see and hear.
