Preston invites us to be intentional in isolation, reminds us the teamwork of Christianity, and to be a witness for Christ.
Faith often looks like living in between the gap of what God has promised, and the fulfillment of that promise. Joshua 20-21 shows us that not even one of God's promises will ever fail. God has promised mercy for our sins, presence for our souls, and rest for our future, and we can be confident that those promises will be fulfilled.
If you want to experience all God has for you, you have to fully follow Him. You must follow him even when fear tells you to retreat, even when the promise is delayed, and until the work is finished.
How do we find true spiritual rest while living in a spiritual war zone? We fight sin fiercely, follow God faithfully, and feast on his victory fully.
