Have we ever stopped to ask ourselves, "what does my spiritual diet look like?"  "Are the resources that I am consuming concerning Holy Scripture in agreement with God's Word?"  At times, it is good to take a look at the diet that we consume, so that we may be built up as living stones into a spiritual house.  Let us long for the pure spiritual milk of God's Word... "believe in God, believe also in Me" -Jesus-  God has given us pure spiritual milk and food found in the Holy Scriptures, let us rejoice and be glad in it! 

Facts matter, especially when it comes to the truth about Jesus Christ; His life, death, and resurrection.  Pastor Bednash discusses his thoughts concerning an article posted in the New York Times from April 20, 2019.  This opinion based interview addresses general questions from columnist Nicholas Kristof toward Serene Jones, President of Union Theological Seminary.  During such a confusing time in our lives amidst this pandemic and the ever changing philosophy of this world... facts matter.  We are called to know for certain that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, so that by believing we may have life everlasting.  We are called to faith in Christ, nothing else.  Therefore, continue to listen and know the Good Shepherd's voice through His Word.

During our time apart we might have a burning patience awaiting to return to our own sanctuaries as well as the return of Christ to bring us to the ultimate promise land of heaven.  

Because of the various trials that lead Christ to the cross for our sake, we too, face any and all various trials with joyfulness and hope.  Christ conquers all through His death and resurrection.
