Kicking off our new teaching series through the book of Exodus, Tom explores how the Exodus story echoes through the whole of Scripture - from Genesis to Revelation - until we meet the source of the sound in full volume on page one of the New Testament: Jesus of Nazareth.
On Pentecost Sunday, Katy concludes our teaching series on the gifts of the Spirit by looking at the often misunderstood and sometimes intimidating gift of Tongues - giving us an accessible How, What & Why, and encouraging us all to eagerly desire this powerful spiritual gift.
This week Emily takes us through not one specific but an overview of all the gifts, including those often given less attention like "helping", "administration" and "mercy". Here we see that we all have something to contribute as we play our part in the renewal of the city.
Sam speaks about healing, faith, and the power of the Holy Spirit, sharing personal testimonies alongside Jesus’ healings in Mark 5. He explores praying boldly for healing while learning to trust God in the tension of the “now and then” of His Kingdom.
Jon explores 1 Corinthians 14 as we look at the gift of prophecy.
Katy explores the what, why, and how of the gifts of the Holy Spirit; what they are, why they matter, and how we can begin to step into them in everyday life.
This week we begin our new six week teaching series on the gifts of the Spirit - So Much More/ Life in the Spirit. But before we consider the specific gifts, we spend some time in week one look at the gift giver, as Tom explores the foundational question of “Who is the Holy Spirit?"
Katy explores the encounter with Jesus on the road to Emmaus, inviting us to consider: do we see Jesus as we are, or as He truly is? What would life look like if we lived it through the lens of the resurrection?
