One mark of faith in God is humility. None of us can ever have God all figured out, so we honor the goodness, truth and beauty we find in others.

We often think courage is shown in the big, heroic acts. But people also show great courage in the simply, everyday acts of living.

Amid all the negative signs of political campaigns and world troubles,

we look for good signs of God at work.

Jesus said it's not the traditions or rules we follow or disregard that make us clean or unclean - it's what comes from the inward self.

Following Jesus isn't the easiest road. When some of the crowds got disillusioned with Jesus he gave his close friends permission to leave, too. They said, "No, you're the one with the words of life."

Jesus invites us to shape our lives following his example - to "feed on his flesh."

What attracts humans to God? What do we mean when we say that Jesus draws all people to himself?

What's the secret of life? Relationships of love with God and each other.

God works the miracle of abundance when we open ourselves to relationship with friends and God. Our souls are restored.

God can't be boxed in to a "house," whether it's a church or temple, or a system of beliefs. Instead, God's people are God's dwelling place.
